Hi! I’m Caroline, and I’m a musician in transition.
For the last couple of years, I’ve lived in the Bay Area, teaching and playing music. Prior to that, I spent my weekdays teaching Suzuki violin and orchestra in a Colorado public school, and private violin lessons at my home studio. I also ran City Strings, a program of the nonprofit Augustana Arts, which brings instruments and lessons to underprivileged youth in the Denver metro area.
I grew up playing the fiddle with the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers, and have been involved teaching or assisting at Fiddlekids Day Camp for over a decade. I’ve also taught cello and musical saw at Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp. I’m a two-time International musical saw champion.
Now, I’m preparing to set sail into the sun – more or less.
I’ll also be competing in the U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Championships in September. Wish me luck!
